October 17 is World Poverty Day. To honor this important day, Women Thrive is participating in Stand Up and Speak Out, a 24-hour worldwide call to take action against poverty and inequality.
The Stand Up and Speak Out campaign encourages governments to honor the promise to halve poverty by 2015 they made when they signed the Millienium Development Goals in 2000. Women Thrive calls on every American to Stand Up and Speak Out with us, by supporting the GROWTH Act, now before both houses of Congress! |
